Phillip & Sarah Pritchard Prayer Letter July- August 2017

Amados (Loved ones),

In our last update we shared with you that the Lord had opened a door on two islands north of us and indeed He has. We have made contact with the School board and have received a green light to distribute, by way of donation, nearly 19,000 school packets which include a notebook, pencil, discipleship study and New Testament. We do not know what God will do or whom will be forever changed through this, but we go and we hope with His promise in mind that those that go bearing precious seed shall come again rejoicing.

We praise the Lord for missionary Areobaldo and Nilza De Carvalho sent out of Fairfax Baptist Temple. They faithfully serve in the city of Mindelo on the island of São Vicente. This couple graciously hosted us as we did the survey work for the project and will be working hand in hand with us to maximize this outreach. We thank the Lord for this family in more ways than we can say.

Missions Trip Opportunity

We extend to all, a short term mission trip opportunity from September 18th- 30th to help distribute and present Christ to the youth of Cape Verde. We ask that you consider helping us financially with the costs of going, abiding, and transporting laborers and materials for the duration of the project. We are estimating around $8,500 to see this project done which comes to around $.45/ student. We thank you already for your prayers and involvement in this outreach.

SBT Classes Starting

Lord willing the 15th of August we start classes with Nelson, Edson, and Clovis. Please pray for these men and their families as they prepare for their ministry and service to Christ.

We are in the process of renewing our six month visa and are applying for residency visa. This is two separate processes of which to date we have spent nearly four months jumping through hoops. The barriers that lie in front are bureaucratic and financial. Please pray we will make head way soon.

Thank you for your continued support and prayer for our family. We look forward to sharing with you what the Lord does over the next few weeks in Cape Verde.

For His Glory,
The Pritchard’s
Phillip, Sarah, Mason, Micah, Sofia and Sadie
