Phillip Pritchard Family Newsletter – 01 – 02 – 2020

We want to thank you, our friends and family, for your faithful support and prayer.

During the Christmas season we were blessed by Christmas cards and special gifts that lifted our spirits and hearts in thanksgiving. Thank You.

As a ministry we have many upcoming opportunities to advance the Gospel and edify the church. I would like to list them and ask for your prayers in the days ahead.

  • Seminary Classes – Pray for these men and their families as they are taught and mentored to lead the Cape Verdean Church and make many disciples of Christ. During February we have a fellow missionary, Ariobaldo DeCarvalho, teaching a module on Church Planting. Pray that through this we will see the multiplication of disciples and churches.
  • Non – Profit Status Renewal – Our paper work is currently in the Prime Ministers Office. Pray that things are renewed and released soon. This has been a long process with many ups and downs. Please continue to pray.
  • Weekly church outreach ministry on the town squares. – This has been a great encouragement to our church body to minister together. Pray for souls to be saved. We are excited about each born again believer learning to present the gospel and make disciples themselves.
  • Arrival and release of scripture shipment arriving February 22nd, 2020. These materials are arriving for the upcoming School projects this fall. Some of the materials are going to be prepared a separate shipment to Guinea Bissau later this year.
  • Marriage and Family Retreat – April 3rd and 4th. Pray for marriages and Families to be established and strengthened by the Word of God. My Father ( Paul Pritchard Jr.) and Team leader will be with us, preaching and lecturing, during this time of exhortation and edification to families amongst the baptist churches in Cape Verde.
  • Two Future Church Plants. – We are participating in partnership with Missionary Luiz Nunes to help start a church on the island of Fogo. We are also planning in the near future another outreach and possible church plant on the other side of the capital.
  • We celebrated the renewal of our residency visas this past week for two more years.
  • The arrival of team members and fellow missionaries Josh and Jenny Kidd. – May 15th.

For His Glory,
Phillip Pritchard & Family
