12 Jul Mark & Julie Lancaster Prayer Letter April – June 2018
Dear Pastors and Praying Friends,
We pray that this letter finds you enjoying God’s richest blessings. I was thinking this week on I Samuel 12:24, “Only fear the Lord, and serve Him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things He hath done for you.” Certainly, the response of our service comes from the depth of God’s mercy and grace that He has be-stowed on us. Julie and I recognize that He has been better to us than we deserve.
Since our last letter, the Lord has given us the opportunity to be in churches in West Virginia, Missouri, North Carolina, Georgia, Kentucky, and Ohio. We have had some blessed services and have seen many come to Christ. We are also thankful for new churches that have partnered with us in the ministry which has raised our sup-port level up another ten percent.
There are many building projects that are going on at our headquarters in Seymour. We are trying to get our training facility ready for new missionary prospects that will be coming to us in August. It is very exciting to see these dear people seeking to serve the Lord on the mission field. They will train for six months at our stateside headquarters and then six months on their prospective fields. We are working on the completion of guest rooms at the headquarters. These rooms will allow missionaries to have a place to stay while they are training or working on deputation. We are still seeking the Lord’s direction on the best way to proceed in shoring up the roof to control the leaks that we continue to have in our warehouse. This is something that we would sincerely ask you to pray with us about. Some of our work projects will not be able to be completed until we are able to finish the roof.
We would ask our friends and partnering churches to pray with us about the finances that are needed at this time to be able to ship containers of Bibles to our churches overseas that need scriptures. Also, we ask you to please consider the possibility of helping with the funds that are needed to get our building finished for the glory of God.
We are grateful for the new churches that have recently partnered with us as well as others who faithfully support us with prayer and finances. We are trying to raise the rest of our support in as timely of a manner as pos-sible, so we can put our complete attention on the work of the ministry. Right now we are at 27% of our needed support. If you would consider having us at your church to share our ministry, we do have some dates open over the summer and fall and we would love to be with you!
Please pray for us to be used of God in His field. I would ask you to continue to pray that my health would remain stable and most of all, we ask that you please continue to hold Emily up before the Lord. Julie and I are so thankful for our friends around the world that have encouraged us in so many ways.
In His Service,
