12 Dec Lancasters Prayer Letter – november 2019
November 28, 2019
Our hearts are filled with gratitude for the bountiful blessings that God has given to us. This has been a wonderful year of meetings and ministry. As we have traveled the country, the Lord has allowed us to see people saved as well as some called into full-time Christian ministry. The Lord has performed some mighty miracles in the ministry of PREACH. We have asked our friends around the world to pray for Bro. Paul Pritchard. The Lord has, in His providence, allowed Bro. Paul to stand at death’s door this year, yet has sustained him to work a little longer in His field. We are blessed to see some healing and a new measure of strength. We have also seen some wonderful work being done at the headquarters in Seymour, Missouri. Many have helped in the work on building as well as helped us in getting containers of material across the ocean. God is good!
We are writing this letter for a specific purpose. We have been asked to help for a few weeks at a struggling church in the country of Germany. Most of you know of our deep love for church planting, helping struggling churches, and certainly our love for the country of Germany. We have been asked to fill in at Grace Baptist Church in Baumholder, Germany for the month of February. This is a military church that I have preached in many times in years past. There is a missionary family that is currently on
deputation that may be able to serve in this church in the future but it will be a while before they can begin their ministry there. It will be an easy transition for us since we lived on the German economy for several years. While we are in Europe, we are going to try to take time to visit some missionaries and workers in Romania with whom PREACH has built a relationship.
Expenses for the trip, including airline tickets as well as all expenses for the month, would be between $5,500 and $6,000. Would you please pray with us about helping with this need? We believe that the Lord will give you fruit for your sacrifice. If you can help financially, would you please let us know an amount that the Lord has laid on your heart so that we can see where we are.
As always, we are very thankful as you continue to lift us up before the Lord. Our hearts are certainly excited for what the Lord may do through this opportunity. Baumholder is still a growing military community and it is necessary to have a good, thriving church there near the military instillation.
In His Service,
Mark and Julie Lancaster
