16 Nov Kidd Family Prayer Letter – November 2019
Dear Friends & Co-laborers in Christ,
Fall has certainly arrived and in some places that we have been it looks and feels like winter. Nonetheless, we continue to plug away and travel to as many churches as God allows us to.
New Prayer Letter Look
Some have noticed a new look to our prayer letter. We have begun using the Preach letterhead to keep things uniform through the ministry. Also, those who receive a copy via USPS may have noticed a difference in how it looks and the different return address. We have NOT changed our sending church. Our sending church continues to be Wilson Creek Baptist Church in Battlefield, MO. Calvary Baptist Church has a printing ministry and by using their ministry, it significantly reduces the expense of printing and mailing our prayer letter. It is a matter of financial stewardship and a great convenience for us.
For those who did not see our Facebook page, we now have a definite date on when we will return to Cape Verde!! Our tickets have been purchased and on May 14th, 2020 we will depart Boston, MA and arrive in Praia, Cape Verde on the 15th. We are extremely excited about this and ask that you rejoice with us. Please continue to pray for us as we have a very busy schedule of meetings between now and then and have many other details that need to be worked out.
God has been blessing our meetings abundantly. We have seen several make decisions to be more proactive in telling others of Jesus Christ and some have surrendered their life to missions. God has also given us several new supporters over the past couple months. We are ever so grateful that God allows us to be a part of His work here on Earth.
Please continue to pray with us as we will be traveling several thousand miles over the upcoming months. God has granted us safety on the roads thus far and we desire continued safety and fruitful meetings. Also, we ask that you would pray for endurance as we travel. Trying to fit all of life’s activities, especially homeschooling 6 children, in the mix is challenging. Lastly, we ask that you pray for more laborers. There is much opportunity and many open doors, but we need those who have surrendered to service of our Savior to come along side us.
