Dear Pastor and Church Family,
Holes in the Calendar
Since resuming my preaching schedule and ministry work late January, my wife and I have traveled extensively. Seemingly, at times, a very futile attempt to catch up for the months lost due to illness. Nonetheless, we have rejoiced in seeing God move in a number of conferences with substantial increases in faith promise commitments. Such grace giving is what helps to further evangelize the world with the gospel. From New York to Florida, in 7 different states, God has helped us. We are trying to reconstruct the holes in the calendar. Please contact us if we can be a help in growing a vision for God’s mission around the world.
Help on the Campus Construction
We would like to extend a special thanks to Landmark Baptist Church of Easley, SC, the Anchor Academy Boys Home of Sikeston, MO, and the Victory Boys Home of Sarcoxie, MO for the short-term mission trips and work they have helped us with here on the PREACH Campus. Their help to move the facility a little closer to completion was greatly appreciated. We invite you and your church group to come spend a week with us as an “in-country” mission trip aiding in a tremendous way to advance the mission of God.
In March and April, cyclones have devastated the east coast of Africa, precisely where we began our ministry 18 years ago. Beira, Mozambique and the surrounding areas have been 90% destroyed by the 105-124 mph winds. Our prayers and concerns for our Mozambique brethren are not enough; we need to act. Please pray that God would provide guidance and compassion as we consider plans and costs for assisting churches and pastors in the reconstruction of both their lives and ministries.
Now a few months removed, improvements to my health have been steadier and surer. Though a few problems persist, we are confident God will make a way. Thank you for your prayers and concerns for both my wife and I. It is our privilege to do God’s ministry both here and around the world.
For God’s Global Glory
